Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask – Review

Hi people! Today’s post is about another Korean skincare product that I’ve been using for quite some time now, the Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask. Indeed, you must know that I love clay masks, however the main issue with them is that they tend to dry very rapidly and so they cannot have an impact on the skin with their amazing minerals. The carbonated element comes in handy because it keeps the mud damp throughout the entire process. The mask begins to bubble up very fast, so a quick hand is definitely needed to apply it all over the face.

Fundamentally, this mask is a basic clay mask containing carbon which influences the mask to bubble up on your face – this gives your skin delicate care. It also contains charcoal powder which detoxifies, infiltrates the pores and draws out dirt and impurities. It’s also expected to wash out, fix your pores and even useful for oily skin as it helps control excessive sebum production. And the best part is, it only contains natural ingredients.

Let’s talk about the packaging. It is tightly sealed and has a tiny applicator to apply the product. The applicator gives you an appropriate amount of product to cover your entire face, including your neck. Please don’t go overboard with this mask guys, a little goes a long way. What’s more, I have been wondering ever since I’ve seen this product, is why on earth this is even called “Milky Piggy” and has such a cute piggy on the packaging when the product itself does not contain either milk or piggy parts. What I do know, however, is that they claim not to do animal testing, so that’s pretty great.

After applying and waiting for about 5-10 minutes, it’s time to finally burst the bubble. Do note, that the mask begins to froth to a very high extent, and it can bubble a lot, till the point where enormous air pockets form around your nostrils and you can’t breathe! Therefore, I exceedingly suggest scraping off the mask first, so that no more bubbling can occur, and then wash your face. So, from numerous points of view, this mask acts as a cleanser and a mask (and a killer) all in one.

The Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask is absolutely one of my favorite skin care products so far. It is quite a fun mask and the whole experience is so exciting, in itself. What I do like most is that it keeps the mud damp, letting it affect the skin over a longer period of time, rather than drying out and simply staying there, which was the thing that pulled me in the most. I do not know about the exact price of this product, as it was sent to me by a Korean Beauty brand, but it is very affordable for being a natural, cutting edge and fun product, with amazing ingredients. I will definitely be purchasing this again.
