Happy weekend guys!
I know I post after a long time (forgive me) but I try my best to post for you guys despite my busy schedule. Also, I am a very lazy person. Anyway, today I’ll be reviewing the sulphate-free Citrus Berry Anti-Hair Fall Cleanser by Aura.
This hair cleanser that contains natural and organic ingredients claims to nourish and repair your hair, and work together to strengthen and revitalise your hair as well. It contains castor oil, coconut oil, olive oil, gooseberry (Amla), soapnut (Reetah), Acacia Consinna (Sekakai), aloe vera, Grapefruit Essential Oil Blend, Lye, and distilled water. Amla and Sekakai are really good for your hair, making them lustrous, thick and shiny.
So the name “anti-hair fall” is not what motivated me to buy this cleanser. I got it because it was made of completely natural ingredients and has no sulphates or paraben whatsoever. You will be able to notice that yourself while using because it does not lather like commercial shampoos do. I would suggest using some shampoo with it because it does tend to make your dry. The bottle has a lot of quantity but you might need to use more for longer hair.
It comes in a good quality plastic bottle and a lid that you press on to open it. I do think the packaging could’ve been better though. As for the fragrance, I’m totally disappointed. One of the main reasons I got it was because I am infatuated with berries and I just couldn’t resist buying this “Citrus Berry” cleanser. When I used it, I couldn’t smell even a hint of berries or citrus, but it was more like apples. It is brownish-red in color and not too runny, but thick in consistency.
I personally, did not like this product. It made my hair extremely rough, dry and brittle. I’ve used it 2-3 times and maybe it doesn’t work well on my hair because my hair isn’t used to it, but I did not like it at all. So, no, I will not recommend this. But, on the other hand it might work well for others, because every product works differently on every person. You are more than welcome to try this natural shampoo made with wonderful ingredients yourself!
I got this online for only Rs. 650 from Beautybar.pk!
Have a great weekend everyone!
